Ian Houghton is an experienced actor, presenter and voiceover artist with an ever increasing profile in this highly competitive industry.
During the past few years Ian has appeared in many productions in both London's West End and No.1 National Tours, including the National Theatre's production of War Horse at the New London Theatre; appearing alongside Dame Helen Mirren in The Audience at the Gielgud Theatre; Headlong's acclaimed production of James Graham's This House at the Garrick Theatre & National Tour and the National Tour of The Best Man for Bill Kenwright Ltd.
Ian also starred in the National Tour of hit One-man Show Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus based on the multi-million selling book by John Gray.
Other stage credits include Jonas Kent in the UK National Tour of Peter James’ Looking Good Dead, Jim Hacker in Yes, Prime Minister at the Gielgud Theatre, Robert and Bernard in the UK National Tour of Boeing Boeing, Robert Darwin and Richard Matthews in the ground-breaking new production of The Wider Earth at London’s Natural History Museum, Captain Tock in The Fastest Clock in the Universe at the Old Red Lion, The Super in Unrestless for the Old Vic New Voices, Mr Carter & Mr Ayres in What's Wrong With Angry? at the Kings Head Theatre and David O Selznick in the award winning Moonlight & Magnolias at the Hertford Theatre.
TV work includes Harley and the Davidsons, Mr Selfridge, Call The Midwife, The Great Outdoors, Eastenders, Holby City, Waking the Dead, M I High and Moving Wallpaper whilst film credits include RocknRolla (Guy Ritchie) and Breaking & Entering (Anthony Minghella).
